Should I Refrigerate These Products?

• Everyday Cakes - Do not refrigerate.
• Birthday and Specialty Cakes and Wedding Cakes - Refrigerate promptly. They can be stored at room temperature for a maximum of one hour if required.
• Desserts - Refrigerate.
• Cookies, Doughnuts, Muffins and Pastries - Refrigeration is optional, but not required. Cookies with chocolate can be refrigerated to keep the chocolate firm.

Transportation and Serving Tips for Large Cakes, Tarts and Tortes

• Carry the cake as level as possible.
• Get a friend to help you up/down stairs and through doorways if necessary.
• When transporting the cake in a vehicle...
• Situate the cake securely so that it cannot slide, tilt or fall.
• Use your air conditioning (especially in the summer).
• Do not make sudden turns or stops.
• Be sure to cut/slice all the way through the cookie crust bottom when serving.
